In this episode, Rob and Brent dig into why the traditional idea of retirement no longer fits—and why waiting for “someday” often keeps us stuck. They talk candidly about their own experiences, the fear and excitement of change, and what it really takes to trust yourself enough to make a bold move. From financial clarity and sabbaticals to real-life stories of people who’ve already taken the leap, the conversation challenges listeners to rethink timing, momentum, and what’s possible next. The question at the center of it all: if you’re feeling the pull… why not now?

I really enjoy listening to your podcast, thank you for doing it!
This episode reminded me of a book I really enjoyed called Die with Zero. It made me rethink when I want to stop corporate life and move on to something else.
Nice to hear back from you! I’ve been listening to your podcast from the first episode because it came at a perfect time in my journey. I read the Die with Zero book in Jan2025, took a sabbatical in the summer (Sacuba diving in Galapagos among other things), and left my corporate job in October. I’m excited about what may be ahead but still undecided if I go back to the corporate world or not. Your topics resonate a lot with me. Thank you for making this podcast!
